Here's where you can find all the necessary league and players registrations etc. for the Essex Walking Football League for Seasons 2020.
The EWFL Players and Club Registration Forms have been amended and the revised versions can be downloaded from here.
The current EWFL Matchday Rules are here to download.
All matches will be played under the Essex Walking Football League Competition rules. These are based on the FA's original LOTG template and our competition rules have been adjusted to ensure that physical contact is not made in order to win the ball or gain an advantage without taking the ball cleanly and thereby ensuring all game play is fair.
What is the difference between Law and our Competition Rules?
The Law ('FA's LOTG') allows for variances in certain aspects of the game (i.e. type of ball or length of match) that can be determined by a specific competition underneath their own set of rules in order to unify the format of matches within that particular competition. Very simply, laws should be applied consistently wherever the game is played whereas competition rules allow for some flexibility and local variance where appropriate to do so.
The two EWFL match day forms can be downloaded from here. Unless instructed otherwise all Results Sheets and Team Sheets i.e. all original matchday forms are to be sent to:

General Data Protection Regulation ('GDPR') came into force on 25th May 2018. All Club administrators and officials are advised to read this document and understand how this legislation impacts on their Club.
(A) A player is one who, being in all other respects eligible, is a bona fide member of a Club and is registered on the FA’s Whole Game System for the current season.
(B) For all matches, including cup competitions all registrations must have been received by the League by 12:00 noon on the day prior to the date of the match.
(C) The onus shall be on the Club to produce evidence of registration, if required and requested by the Registrations Secretary. Any failure to do so when requested will lead to the Club being fined and possible points deduction.
(D) It shall be a breach of Rule for a player to play for more than one club in the same Competition in the same season. NB: Each age-related ‘EWFL’ Division is defined as a separate ‘Competition’. Does not apply when an age-related Division has been split for geographical reasons i.e. a player cannot sign for two or more different clubs/teams in a North or South age-related Division.
(E) A Club shall keep a list of the players it registers and a record of the games in which they have played, and shall produce such records upon demand by the Registrations Secretary.
(F) If, upon a protest raised from a Club or otherwise as to the qualification of a player taking part in any EWFL Competition because of an alleged age discrepancy, the player concerned must produce the necessary birth certificate or other official documents, as appropriate.
(G) A Club is required to register each of their players prior to the start of any season and a player's consent has to be sought for that player to participate for a club/team before doing so. By signing the form the player is giving their consent and will there be registered to that club/team with the league. The League/Club Players Registration can be found under 'Our Documents' page. NB: All forms are to be kept by the club and not the League. The League will only require access to the form if there is a dispute over registration. NB: A player's registration is automatically de-registered at the end of each season.
